Southern Mama ~ Do you mean is sawyer locke's dad? I think so. Not sure about monster..maybe monster lives in box?

Muchacha de Hurley ~ i think that it's marked cerebrus on the blast door <map> which would indicate that there are three.

Incidentally, the Stewardess has been seen in some of the promos with Jack in a cage, lending a little more credence to my theory that the flight crew are Others.

i watch Kimmel every night as part of my work and tonight there was video of Lost figurines Jack and Kate that was absolutely hilarious. i will try to get video!

promos abound

With my new position at work i haven't had the winter break that i hoped for, but i do see Lost promos at least five times a night while Air Switching Nightline and Kimmel. i am starting to get excited about February 7th coming around (understandably so) and really need to watch that sixth ep of the season again and review it here.

In the meantime i have found the time to rewatch Alias seasons one and two for the first time in about three years and do you know what i realized? That in season one i had somehow skipped a disk (disk 5, as i recall) and only seen one of the eps on it (during its first run, on tv). i didn't know anything about the Snowman! So now i'm in the process of bidding on seasons 3-5 on eBay (couldn't find them in one lot, but two are from the same seller, so combined shipping there) because after season two and the very beginning of season three i couldn't watch every week so i couldn't keep up with the plotlines. i'm hoping that watching all the eps back to back (instead of on again, off again) will help my understanding of the plot. i've also realized that the music in the series, while it seemed jarring to me the first time i saw the first two seasons, now totally blows me away. They always seemed to pick the perfect music to match Sydney's mood or mission.

And last but not least i am still (and even more than ever) a Will/Sydney shipper. i remember leaning that way during the pilot and gradually coming to accept Vaughn was who TPTB wanted her with, but i always preferred Will. Bradley Cooper is an awesome actor. As is the guy who plays Marshall (his name escapes me at the moment), and Greg Grunberg was the bomb! Weiss was such a small role, but he totally owned it. i'm going to have to rent Heroes when it comes out on dvd because i've seen like two eps and have no idea what is going on and it seems like he's not featured as much as the other characters.

i wish they would bring the pilot back on Lost; i've always suspected that he was one of the Others and really wasn't killed by the Black Smoke Monster and is stashed somewhere in the Crater with the rest of the Others. i totally think that Ben meant for that plane to crash on the Island because Jack was on it. Which makes me hope for more Grunberg on the Island... but of course i'm not holding my breath. But it might make a good fanfic.
