oh, also

It about time that Claire kissed Charlie!!! Psycho b... uh, yeah, just make up your mind already, he almost died for you, after all. And that's all i have to say about that.

just watched it again

"Henry" told Michael that he would find "Rescue" much the same way Danielle would say that they were going to the "Black Rock". Still, i'm not surprised that he's the one in charge on the Island.

What in the world do they want Jack, Kate, and Sawyer for? Will Hurley be in charge (or maybe Sayid)? And what in the world were their expressions about right before the bags were pulled over their heads???

now that it's over

Okay, is it just me, or do Libby/Elizabeth and Penny/Penelope look like they could be sisters?

"Henry" is the leader! i am not very surprised, but it was really neat to see.

What happened to Locke and Eko and Desmond? It's my guess that nothing happened, but that's just me.

Timeline?
>: Desmond meets Libby
>: Desmond attempts eight month race around the world
>: Desmond washes up onto Island
>: Desmond sends more than two years in hatch
>: Desmond accidentally kills Kelvin when he discovers that his boat hasn't been destroyed
>: SYSTEM FAILURE is flashing when Desmond returns
>: Locke beats on hatch, Desmond turns on light
>: Locke blows up hatch
>: Desmond attempts to sail away from Island (snowglobe)
>: Desmond returns to the Island drunk
>: Locke lets countdown run down (incidentally, the numbers could have still been entered after the monitor was broken, but fixing mistakes would be problematic)
>: Desmond turns key that drunk Kelvin told him about
>: "violet" light (according to Claire it was violet)
>: what happened? (again, i say nothing)

who died? if anyone, Eko, but doubtful.
>: Season one: anonymous female, Ethan, Boone, Arzt
>: Season two: Shannon, Nathan, Goodwin, Ana Lucia, Libby

more ramblings later
This episode is frickin' amazing.

oh, and i still believe that the button doesn't matter

observations during the ep (also posted at the Fuselage)

Stupid vcr missed the spoiler except for the last ten seconds! Sometimes i hate technology; did i miss anything?

Cynthia Watros is in tonight's ep!

Hurley's great: "I thought the point was to save Walt."

Sawyer's "Let's Roll" of course makes me think of Flight 93 (which i haven't seen yet, but that's OT).

Also OT, great X-Men preview.

Ah, how sweet! The Elizabeth is named for Libby

i think that Desmond is a coward who's running away

Eko is crazy (i hope he and Charlie are okay)

Well at least we know that they didn't just kill off the three main characters in one fell swoop. Also, wouldn't they need more than/on one dart for Hurley? He's a big guy.

The question is: who (if anybody) is going to die by the end of this episode.

still watching...

oh, right

i totally believe that the new symbol on the hatch in last week's ep was Orion. Time to turn on the TV!

tonight's season finale

Well, it's finally here (in half an hour, give or take a few minutes) and once again i've neglected to write. This summer i hope to be watching both season again and recording my observations here. Some that are pertinent to tonight i will list below:

The sailboat is Desmond's... whether he is inside it is unclear.

i don't believe that anyone should be pushing the button in the hatch: i've always thought that it's just a psychological experiment.

my respect for Sawyer has grown this year but i'm still astonished that he considers Jack a friend; i believe that he took the guns not for power for himself but to protect his friends.

i predict that Walt's going to be back full time next season

i can't think of anything else and it's taken me long enough to come up with this stuff: signing off

"Live Together, Die Alone"

"After discovering something odd just offshore, Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to confront "The Others" and hopefully get Walt back. Meanwhile, Eko and Locke come to blows as Locke makes a potentially cataclysmic decision regarding the "button" and the hatch."

re: "Three Minutes"

Dude, i've really got to write more here. i've just been so tired lately. So, Michael is not brainwashed, just coerced. Had i taken a moment to realize that he was only gone, what, two weeks? (i need to see the ep again) i would have thought this as it was one of my theories anyway. But whose going to believe me when i didn't take the time to write it down!?! (:

finally! Lost season two is coming out on DVD!

Amazon.com's listing

i've been looking for info about this for months; unfortunately, we have to wait until October 3rd.

just back from Mission Impossible 3

Great film, better than the second, though not as good as the first of course. Abrams really did great work. i just got back, hopped on the internet to drop everyone a note, and discovered that Abrams is slated to write, produce, and possibly direct Star Trek XI with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (as yet untitled or announced which series it will be based on, mum is the word on such developments). All i can see is wow, i can hardly wait until 2008.

"?"

"Mr. Eko enlists Locke to help find a secret location he believes houses answers to the island's mysteries. Meanwhile, Jack and the other survivors struggle to cope with the horrific situation in the hatch."
- from ABC.com

All i can say is "Wow, i hope the good stuff keeps coming! i like season two even better than season one."

Mission Impossible 3

i didn't get to see it this weekend as i had hoped: i'll hopefully get to see it on Tuesday, otherwise i will have to wait until next Sunday.

Re: point 3

C. Michael has been brainwashed by the Others and will be leading them all into a trap

This was something i meant to include but forgot, but after reading some more at the Fuselage it is the idea i most agree with/support. Unfortunately i am just too tired and brain dead at the moment to write about it in detail.

wow

Last night's episode surely was a shocker, wasn't it? I don't have much time to post, i just wanted to hit a few things.

1. i guess that this makes arguing about whether Libby is an other a moot point

2. i found it ironic that Sawyer called Ana Lucia "muchacha" when i just picked that for my screen name at the Fuselage just a couple of weeks ago. Also, i totally did not want the two of them together! i am totally a Sawyer/Kate fan and knew that Ana Lucia was just doing it to get the gun.

3. As i see it, there are several options on WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS MICHAEL THINKING aspects of plot development.
A. he has become an other and was trying to free Henry
B. he's just trying to amp up the tension so everyone will be sure to go after them

i'm really leaning towards B, especially because he shot himself (in the arm it looks like, a graze) and opened the safe to let Henry out. Henry's probably going to have to run for his life. Also, i don't think that the camp Michael found is the only camp, nor do i think it is where Walt is being held.

Question: what did Locke tell Jack? about the map?

so, who's dead? Libby, i think, is obvious, as she took at least two shots to the stomach and chest. i don't think the blanket helped her at all. Ana Lucia is a maybe: she'll probably still be alive at the beginning of the next episode and die slowly of a gut wound. Michael will most likely get away with this charade (judging by the preview) and everyone will now of course be gunning to go after the Others. After the slow pace of development last season this season has positively been on fast forward! Anyways WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS MICHAEL THINKING!?!
